Dr. Sascha A. Jovanovic is considered one of the founders of guided bone regeneration (GBR). Dr. Jovanovic's clinical research emphasizes esthetic management in dental implant therapy and bone and soft tissue reconstruction techniques. His applied research focuses on bone regeneration with different bone graft materials, growth factors and barrier membranes as well as the biology of soft tissues around teeth and implants. He lectures extensively worldwide and has published over 65 articles and book chapters, and one textbook titled Color Atlas of Implantology (Thieme Publ.) which is translated in 8 languages.

Professor Eric Rompen received a degree in Dental Science in 1986, and a postgraduate degree in Oral Rehabilitation in 1989. He completed his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 1991. He is Professor and Head of the Department of Periodontology/Dental Surgery at the University of Liège. His teaching responsibilities at the University of Liège include periodontology, dental surgery and implant surgery. He is an accomplished lecturer nationally and internationally.

Dr. Mintrone began his career as a dental technician before specializing as a ceramist in fixed dental prosthesis. He graduated with honors in dentistry from the University of Modena, Italy, after which he furthered his education in prosthetic dentistry and implant surgery. Dr. Mintrone’s articles on pre-visualization have been published internationally in specialist magazines. He regularly lectures nationally and internationally on topics related to digital dentistry, implants and prosthodontics. He focuses his Professional activity mainly on aesthetics and prosthetic rehabilitation on implants and natural dentition in his private practices in Modena, Italy.

Dr. Joseph Kan completed his specialty training in Prosthodontics as well as the Master degree from the Implant Surgery from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry (LLUSD) in 1997. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and the research coordinator for the Implant Dentistry Program in LLUSD. He also maintains a private practice limited to Prosthodontics and Implant Surgery. Dr. Kan is one of few clinicians worldwide that had been trained in both the surgical and restorative discipline of implant dentistry. Besides lecturing both nationally and internationally, he has published over 40 articles in reference journals and chapters in textbooks.

Dr. France Lambert graduated from the University of Liege in Periodontology, where she continued to obtain a PhD in the same subject. She has also completed a fellowship program in oral implantology at the prestigious Harvard School of Dental Medicine as well as the University of Washington. She is currently Head of Clinic in the Periodontology and Oral Surgery Departement at the University of Liege. Her clinical work is focused exclusively on implantology, mucogingival surgery and periodontics. Her scientific research areas target different aspects of the use of biomaterial and dental implants.

Dr. Barry Bartee received his undergraduate education from Abilene Christian University. He began his professional career in 1986, practicing general dentistry in Lubbock, TX. After 9 years in private practice, Dr. Bartee completed additional studies at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, receiving the M.D. degree in 1999. Dr. Bartee then returned to private dental practice in Lubbock, with a special emphasis on implant dentistry. Dr. Bartee is an Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Surgery, at Texas Tech School of Medicine and is an adjunct Clinical Professor at Texas A&M – Baylor College of Dentistry.

Mariano Sanz is professor and chair of periodontology at the University Complutense of Madrid and a professor in the faculty of odontology at the University of Oslo (Norway).Prof Sanz has published 250 articles in scientific journals, written 50 book chapters, and has participated as an invited speaker at more than 200 scientific events in the last five years. He is an associate editor of the Journal of Clinical Periodontology and of the Evidence-Based Dental Practice and a member of the editorial boards of various other dental journals.

Dr. Daniel Buser is one of the most experienced international implant surgeons with 35 years of surgical experience. He widely lectures at national and international conferences, and CE courses to share his knowledge.With his team, he has authored and co-authored more than 400 publications and book chapters on translational research in the field of implant dentistry. Several are landmark publications with high citation rates.

Dr. Euwe obtained his degree in 1982 at the University of Utrecht (Holland). His professional career started in Monte Carlo in a general practice, and following this he moved to Italy. Since 1986 his main interests in the dental field have been periodontics and oral implantology, and he has been practicing surgery in his own private office and the offices of various colleagues in Northern Italy.
