Blue Sky Bio started out as an implant company. Soon after, they developed a free to download software that allows users to plan guided surgery. In time, it was realized that clear aligners is a largely software driven orthodontic approach. And digital Indirect Bonding Tray design would be hot on its heels. With the tools they already had in place, developing an orthodontic module was the next obvious step. This page will help you to understand the software and it's capabilities.

Dr. Baron Grutter
Dr. Grutter received his dental education from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Dentistry, graduating in 2010. After school, he jumped right into private practice in Gladstone, Missouri. After one year as an associate dentist, he purchased the practice. Two months later, he purchased his first CBCT. Another five months after that, he purchased his first CAD/CAM system. And in 2016, he added 3D Printing to his office. Dr. Grutter has served as a CEREC trainer; leader of the local, Kansas City CEREC Study Club; been a CERECDoctors.com Mentor for many years; and helped to develop multiple guided surgery protocols for use with Sirona's CEREC/Galileo's system. Over time, Dr. Grutter migrated to BlueSkyBio's more robust implant planning software, BlueSkyPlan. He began by speaking to small groups and was eventually asked to aid in testing and development with BlueSkyBio's development team, both on Guided Surgery and Digital Orthodontics. Currently, Dr. Grutter is the project manager for BlueSkyBio's Orthodontic Department.
