GBR (Guided Bone Regeneration) Surgery Channel
9 lessons
7 h 42 min
GBR Surgery Channel is a structured video collection where you will be able to see ReLIVE surgeries performed by Prof. Massimo Simion during his courses and his everyday activity as surgeon.
This course represents an innovative way to learn advanced surgical protocols and explore GBR clinical aspects:
- Incision techniques and flap designs
- Soft tissue management and passivation
- Vertical and horizontal GBR procedures
- Bone augmentation management in aesthetic areas
- Treatment of bone defects and sinus lift procedures with the use of membranes
- Connective tissue harvesting and graft
- Suturing techniques in GBR
- Use of titanium-reinforced non-resorbable membranes and resorbable membranes
-
1. Vertical GBR procedure with contextual sinus lift37 min
-
2. Second surgical phase of vertical GBR procedure with contextual sinus lift1 h 22 min
-
3. GBR treatment of single-tooth defect in aesthethic area45 min
-
4. Horizontal tissue augmentation in upper maxilla front teeth37 min
-
5. Volume preservation after single extraction and immediate implant placement in aesthethic area50 min
-
6. Vertical ridge augmentation of the atrophic posterior mandible50 min
-
7. Maxillary anterior region GBR with titanium-reinforced membrane1 h 1 min
-
8. Second stage surgery: posterior maxilla GBR52 min
-
9. Vertical GBR with tenting screw and concomitant sinus lift for the treatment of posterior maxilla severe atrophy43 min
In this video we can see the second stage surgery related to the video "Vertical GBR procedure with contestual sinus lift". The successful outcome of the first phase allows the author to correctly evaluate the quality of the tissues and ultimate the case accordingly.
The case described sees the application of GBR surgical protocols in conjunction with sinus floor augmentation for the treatment of a severe case of atrophy in the posterior maxilla.
